Jamie is a self-directed Artist currently living on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. 

Born in Glasgow Scotland, he spent the first five years of life in Malawi, Africa.

His father worked for a British Aid Program which enabled their family to live in various locations across the world such as India, Nigeria, France and England.

 

As a creative individual, his mother was able to support his sensitive needs during childhood. Growing up in such surroundings posed some challenges to his development and as a result it lead them to dive deeper into alternative lifestyles and education as he grew older.

 

With a culturally diverse upbringing from a young age, Jamie gained a wider

perspective of the world by seeing  the contrast between heart-breaking hardship and the beauty experienced by the people, places and cultures around him.

 

Following a path outside of standard education, he took time out immersing himself in nature and solitude to discover more about his passions. Leading him to things like Permaculture Design and the study of Human Anatomy.

 

From scribbling with crayons to now creating detailed Artworks he launched ‘Distinkd Art’ on Instagram at fourteen. Posting Fan Art for social media influencers and sharing his unique style helped him expand his reach.

Over three years later, Lucid Roots was born.

This is his current Art platform designed to reflect his personal journey as a young

male in today’s turbulent society. Reflecting his connection to Nature, Self-Growth and Self-Mastery. He aims to grow Lucid Roots into a movement that can serve others and help them tap into their own creative power and potential.

Now, at nineteen years old his focus is to generate more income through his art and  

Explore more advanced techniques and mediums while staying committed to his own path of self growth  through fitness, nutrition and embracing masculine energy. He also loves the adventures of van life where he travels around the coast letting nature inspire him.
